LEDC Mission Statement (Laughlin Economic Development Corp)

To create and implement a collaborative venture among civic and business leaders in the Town of Laughlin and to promote the health, welfare and quality of life of the residents of Laughlin through economic development. LEDC develops and implements programs which increase employment, further educational research and promote recreational opportunities.

The city by the river now attracts nearly 5 million visitors annually who visit Laughlin to gamble, enjoy water sports on the Colorado and attend many high-profile special events hosted by the community.

Laughlin is located 90 miles south of Las Vegas, on the banks of Colorado River at the border with Arizona (504 ft above sea level).

Laughlin's population is about 9,000 and its annual visitors are in the millions each year. There are nine hotels and one motel in Laughlin today, with more than 10,000 rooms. Attractions include the Colorado river, Davis Dam, and Lake Mohave, four golf courses an Outlet Center with 55 stores and a 9-theater complexes
